The Lowepro Pro Trekker 300 AW Backpack (Mica and Black) is a lightweight, rugged, hydration-ready, expedition camera backpack designed to carry a Pro digital SLR camera body with lens attached (up to 300mm f/2.8), 4-5 additional lenses, flash; tripod or monopod, accessories, personal gear and a widescreen laptop computer up to a 15.4". The pack is made from AZ Dobby ballistic nylon polyurethane exterior with Hypalon trim, a Velex brushed nylon and polyurethane lining and HDPE (High-density Polyethylene) interior foam padding. It has a set of padded and adjustable dividers to customize the interior.

The Pro Trekker 300 AW has a removable waistpack that serves in two ways, first as a traditional backpack lid, providing extra security and weather protection, and second as a waistpack with a mesh-covered back pad. It also has an All Weather AW Cover with cinch straps that protects the pack from the elements. There is a Checkpoint-friendly 15.4" laptop sleeve in the front pocket that adheres to most airline requirements eliminating  the need to remove your laptop from the sleeve at security checkpoints. Three integrated tripod sleeves at the front and sides of the pack store, protect and secure tripods, monopods, trekking or ski poles. It has 2 large side pockets that can store large accessories or personal items; 1 is designed for a hydration bladder and includes a seam-sealed pouch that can hold up to 70 ounces of liquid (does not include hydration reservoir), 4 memory card pockets and a removable cord management pouch. There are 2 roomy pockets and a key clip in the removable waistpack. The SlipLock attachment loops and sturdy D-rings are used to carry optional accessories.

The pack is carried by a heavy-duty grab handle, an adjustable-torso harness system, with a Pack Jack tool that provides a fully customized and comfortable fit. Using the tool, the wearer can shorten or lengthen the distance between shoulders and hips. There is a 10-point adjustment system that allows customize fitting at the top of the pack, shoulders, torso, sternum, waist and lumbar areas. There is an adjustable, removable waistpack that includes thick, moisture wicking material and mesh-covered padding to provide added comfort and compression straps on the bottom.
